Smart Ads uses the brand new Mercedes Smart car as the drive train for its ad-mobiles. Each car tows a trailer consisting of 3 illuminated street furniture panels configured in a wedge design for front, side and rear viewing. The poster panels match the size of the larger street furniture panels thus reducing costs when used in combination with this media. The vehicle itself is eye catching which adds impact to the back-lit posters on the trailer. The Smart cars have maximum impact when all 3 are travelling in convoy. The presence of the full fleet when they arrive on site is very strong and ensures brand message is noticed every time.

Each trailer has been custom built to match the design aspects of the Mercedes Smart car. The wheels are identical and give the impression that they were made to be together. The trailers contain a storage area which will accommodate a substantial amount of product or any type of printed material such as brochures, flyers or catalogues. The panels are also illuminated enabling night operation.

This medium can be used to achieve market saturation or be skewed to reach a specific demographic target. It can also be used geographically by providing coverage in and around specific venues such as schools, sporting events, conventions…etc. The mobility of this medium not only attracts the consumer’s eye but also gives advertisers a better distribution presence. The Smart cars can carry passengers, enabling clients to employ dedicated promotions staff to stop and sample with the vehicles.
